The context: heat was driving customers away

During heatwaves Celso saw footfall drop. The fans he had always used were no longer enough: the heat was making the dining room unbearable for guests and staff alike.

What guests asked when booking

In his account, air conditioning became a booking criterion: guests would call and ask whether the restaurant had a cool or air-conditioned area. He estimates a significant share of the bookings on a 70-cover Wednesday were linked to the AC.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Celso, je suis propriétaire du restaurant brésilien Gabriella situé dans le 9e arrondissement de Paris. Ça fait 24 ans qu'on est restaurateurs et on a toujours utilisé des ventilateurs et avec la canicule, c'était très difficile parce que on a constaté une baisse de clientèle. Donc on a eu de la chance d'avoir le contact de la société Climloc. On a constaté une vraiment une augmentation de chiffres d'affaires. Mercredi, on a fait 70 couverts. Je pense que pratiquement 1/3 des réservations, c'était grâce à l'utilisation de la climatisation parce que les gens quand ils reservaient, il posaient vraiment la question s'il y avait un coin frais ou climatisé. Paris fait chaud pendant les périodes estivales, donc je voyais pas trop l'intéret d'acheter une clim pour l'utiliser 2/3 mois. Donc je trouve que c'est beaucoup plus rentable et plus attractif de louer au lieu d'acheter. Nous avons décidé de contacter Climloc parce qu'on avait eu des très bons retour. J'ai connu des personnes qui ont fait appel à cette société et ils étaient très sérieux. C'est vraiment très facile. La livraison, ça se passe très bien. Au niveau de l'installation on en parle même pas. À peine 10 minutes pour l'installation. Tu es vraiment agréablement surpris. On a constaté aussi une qualité de travail de serveur. Travailler dans un endroit qui est climatisé quand il fait très très chaud. On a senti c'est une nette différence, dans le passé quand on travaillait avec la canicule c'est tout simplement insupportable, les ventilateurs ça suffit pas en fait, mais aussi chez moi j'ai un jeune chien de 13 ans, chez moi il faisait 35°, quand j'ai fait appel à Climloc la température baisse à 20°, sur la santé du chien c'était flagrant, maintenant il est vraiment détendu ça fait vraiment plaisir.
