Climloc started in the summer of 2025, after an AC breakdown in a Parisian care home — and the conviction that a country ill-prepared for heatwaves deserves better than a panic purchase in the middle of one.

The story

The summer everything shifted.

"In the summer of 2025, the entire cooling system at the care home where my grandmother was staying broke down."

The repair was going to take a week. A week without air conditioning, in the middle of a heatwave, for some of the most vulnerable residents. We were left with an absurd choice: should we buy an AC unit, just for that week, only to help our grandmother?

While looking for an alternative, one thing struck us: no serious rental service existed. No simple answer to a situation that is, in fact, very common in a country largely unprepared for extreme heat.

Climloc was born from that frustration: a service built for the emergency, able to deliver and install a portable AC in 2 hours anywhere in Paris. A human, logistical and responsible answer to a need that will only grow.

From leadership to riders, every member of Climloc shares the same standard: reply fast, do it well, and do it with a smile. We're a deliberately compact team, able to decide in 5 minutes and step in within the hour.

We operate from our warehouse in Pantin, where every portable AC is prepared, tested and refurbished before each rental.
