Climloc Flex: planning summer to make cooling more affordable

This summer, more than 2,100 customers trusted us to get through the heat. During the week of 20 to 26 June alone, we delivered 1,321 air conditioners to 872 households.

But this summer also showed us what we had to change. For some customers, staying cool meant a significant expense. Delays and difficulties reaching us also complicated a number of rentals. We acknowledge it: we had not anticipated the scale of the demand.

So we worked on one simple question: how can we offer the same essential service at a far more affordable price? The answer is Climloc Flex.

Moving away from last-minute logic

When orders pile up within a few days, the whole operation becomes more expensive: buying air conditioners at the last minute, urgent transport, extra staff and deliveries that are hard to group together.

Those costs were passed on to our prices. That explains part of this summer's rates, but it does not solve the affordability problem.

To bring prices down for good, we had to change the way we prepare the season.

Climloc Flex: plan together, pay less

That is the principle behind our new subscription, available for summer 2027: booking your rental period in advance, with a commitment whose length depends on the plan you choose.

That visibility lets us forecast the units needed, organise the teams earlier and group deliveries and collections. Fewer operations run in a rush means fewer costs passed on to our customers.

The ambition is simple: turn planning ahead into a real saving for the people who trust us.

A unit for the summer, without the burden of buying

The Flex subscription keeps the services that make renting worthwhile:

• delivery and collection;
• maintenance of the unit;
• replacement in case of breakdown, subject to the terms of the offer;
• storage at our warehouse outside your rental period.

You do not have to buy an air conditioner or find room for it at home over the winter. You choose the plan that fits your needs, with an annual payment and a price locked in for the contractual commitment period.

A better prepared summer starts now

We cannot predict every heat episode. What we can do is better prepare the means to respond to it.

Climloc Flex was born from that conviction: staying cool should not depend solely on a last-minute booking. By organising the coming seasons earlier, we want to make our service more predictable, better organised and accessible to more people.
